We met in Vail, CO. Lindsey had moved here from Philly and fell in love with the mountain lifestyle. Charlie had been living here seasonally since 2004, and permanently since 2019.

We quickly realized after meeting that we both love winter sports. Charlie is a snowboarder, while Lindsey skis. Most winter days were spent on the mountain in our backyard, often seeing who could get down the hill the fastest. Charlie's son Noah comes to visit and ends up beating us every time.

Winter turned into summer and the fun continued. We both enjoyed exploring with each other and found we loved being together.

By the next winter season we knew we were on the same page and decided we wanted to make a life together.
